A road trip through a series of landscapes. A pair of sunglasses and cowboy boots. Jean-Yves Durand is my uncle. I accompany him on one of his truck trips. He’s a lorry-driver but always wanted to be an actor. This film is a tribute to this sensitive and unusual man who has enabled me to get a clearer perspective on today's world. I go to meet him; we play with the conventions of a road-movie then go over the very first piece he performed at the Cours Simon. Through this film he reconnects with the role of actor that he always wanted.
