Gourmet cuisine is a male preserve shaped by passion, prestige, and money. A change in management has already taken place in one of the two top-class restaurants in Switzerland. In others it is currently in the planning process. Against this backdrop, the film follows Franck Giovannini’s participation in the Bocuse d’Or, the most prestigious cooking competition in the world. Franck was trained by Benoît Violier, the executive chef of Philippe Rochat.
