In Dunkirk, a town in the north of France, Lucia feels chilled to the bone: the numerous women in the family are preparing the funeral of her dying grandfather, the only man in the household. Lucia refuses to accept the truth. She seeks comfort in the arms of Rabah, a local guy, with whom she has a tumultuous fling.
