Maria and Elvezia Guerra, 91 and 82 years old, have lived together for a long time in an old house in Isone, in the canton of Ticino. Time seems to have stood still for the two sisters, whose daily life is governed by a master-slave relationship: one gives the orders (Maria) and the other obeys – and sometimes revolts
(Elvezia). The surname of the two sisters is
Guerra “Italian for war”, like the reality of their daily bickering.
