Casti is a small mountain village in the Grisons, a farming village for hundreds of years. Dumeni, over 80 years old, is the last farmer. His small herd still fills the village with sounds and smells, as it always has. But Dumeni is calling it quits, and the last cow, Lisa, must go. Casti is no longer a farming village. The inhabitants still live in a small world, but it’s different now. The film portrays this well-nigh forgotten life in the Alps. A very personal documentary film told by an author who is also a part of this small community.
