The spectacular landscape of the Lake Lucerne Region, with its magnificent valleys and mountain peaks, has left behind a literary imprint. Renowned authors in world literature and numerous locally based writers have rendered the region on the page. The film takes the viewer on a journey through the landscapes and pages of Central Switzerland, presenting a selection of historical and current authors and immersing us in bygone and visionary worlds of thought with excerpts from texts.
