“Lux!” has only one main actor: light itself. Here at last it can tell its own story, using the language it knows best, that of images. The film's action is like that of a pendulum, swinging freely from the absurd to the poignant; from technical virtuosity to the realm of mystical enigma. And wit is only one of its many illuminations. Indeed this is no ordinary actor who performs before the camera allowing us insight. What more can we do but ignite fireworks in its honour! Small wonder that “Lux!” has no plot as such, but unrolls as a rich array of anecdotes. Or could it be that the work of sculpting light holds no mystery for you?
