After the death of his fi rst wife Philippe decides to rekindle his relationship with their estranged, mentally handicapped daughter, Julie, who he has not seen or spoken to for over twenty years. Anna, Phillipe’s new girlfriend is five months pregnant and unable to accept Julie in their home. She demands that Philippe chooses between her and Julie.
