Pitchen’s film offers a poetic study of five women from and around Zurich. All are between 30 and 40 and the first generation to profit from the achievements of the 1970s women’s movement. All five are on the brink of great change in their personal and work lives. The film follows the women through 15 months of everyday life, as they navigate the thousands of opportunities, social norms and movements presented to them.
