Moritz is a young boy whose mother goes into hospital for an indefinite length of time. Consequently, Moritz is entrusted to the care of his neighbours, a male couple, who look after him with the best of care. The three of them would be an ideal temporary family were it not for the authorities and the villagers, for whom it is unacceptable that a 10-year-old boy might live with two gays! A tug-of-war begins.
