Two strangers meet in a cab on a rainy night. The man is a musician from France who moved to America to pursue his dream and ended up having to work as a cab driver to make ends meet. The woman is a dancer who has finally had her breakthrough but is forced to retire because of a severe back injury. What they have in common is desperation and sorrow. What separates them is fear. What brings them closer is curiosity. During their ride they find each other and bond in the way people do who share a common sorrow, a unique mutual understanding. As unexpectedly as the woman appears so suddenly she leaves. But she has left something behind…
