Ahmad breaks into the house of the elderly Maryam and is caught by her. Against all expectations, Maryam invites him to dinner and prepares a bed for him to sleep in. Meanwhile, Ahmad pockets a wristwatch. During the night, Ahmad finds an obituary of Maryam's son. Plagued by thoughts, Ahmad cannot fall asleep. In the morning, Maryam notices that the watch is back on the table. She gives it to him and Ahmad sheepishly accepts.
Ahmad si introduce nella casa dell'anziana Maryam e viene catturato da lei. Contro ogni aspettativa, Maryam lo invita a cena e gli prepara un letto per dormire. Nel frattempo, Ahmad intasca un orologio da polso. Durante la notte, Ahmad trova un necrologio del figlio di Maryam. Tormentato dai pensieri, Ahmad non riesce ad addormentarsi. Al mattino, Maryam nota che l'orologio è di nuovo sul tavolo. Glielo regala e Ahmad lo accetta con fare peccaminoso.
