The filmmaker shoulders the camera to accompany her friend Onur, drag queen and artist from Istanbul, to the Gay Prides in Zurich and Istanbul. These are two events that, despite having the same origins, could hardly be more different. While the LGBTQ+ community in Istanbul has to fight oppression and repression, the Pride in Zurich is characterised by banks, multinational companies and pinkwashing. Onur moves between these two worlds and gets between the power of protest, politics and economy.
