The airport, a melting pot of various symptoms of our times. In this sanitised place, the promise of beautiful faraway destinations contrasts with the omnipresence of procedures and controls. A scene of transience and nostalgia, where globalisation meets solitude. Against a backdrop of complex machinery, the social strata interweave and the destinies overlap.
