This documentary portrays three bi-national couples from the region of Zurich. The couples and their families have offered a glimpse of their everyday lives and their past and their world of emotions for an entire year. They tell of their very personal love stories, but also with which prejudices bi-national couples are confronted. The accounts of three couples span a time period of more than 33 years of marriage migration between Switzerland and overseas. The film not only scrutinises current clichés but it is also a declaration of love to love itself.
