Meeting a couple who has survived the abhorrent Khmer Rouge regime and filming their testimony. This is the life changing experience that six Swiss students underwent, led by film’s directors. Taking the audience on a journey from Brussels to Paris and then Phnom Penh, this documentary is as much a poignant and touching testimony by Ong Thong Hoeung and his spouse Bounnie of their descent into hell, in Khmer Rouge reeducation camps, as it is a reflection on a unique and growing relationship between these elderly witnesses and six young people willing to collect their story.
