Guido gets by in life as best he can: occasional work at a warehouse, a few drinks with Rina, the new maid at his local bar, and the talks he has with his one friend, an aged professor. Guido is also heavily in debt. When he loses his job and his creditors have him beaten up for a warning, Guido realizes the only way he can come out of his predicament is to work for the people he owes until he’s worked himself out of debt.
Guido vive tirando avanti come può: un lavoro saltuario e molti debiti sulle spalle. Quando perde il lavoro e subisce un’aggressione commissionata dai suoi creditori, capisce che l’unico modo per risollevarsi è paradossalmente lavorare per loro, divenendo lui stesso un esattore; lavorerà gratis fino a quando il debito sarà estinto.
