This documentary, the first cinematographic work dedicated exclusively to the Hainards, follows the unbelievable nature quest of Robert Hainard (1906-1999). Field naturalist, sculptor, engraver, painter, philosopher, protector of nature and scientist, the man was a major figure on the animal art scene. Through archives and personal accounts, one discovers the multiplicity and originality of his work, the international impact it had, and the force of his mind.
