Michel and Eline Kocher-Mukantare are two journalists travelling with their children through Rwanda for several weeks. They would like to capture a country on film that transcends the forlorn and pity. They accompany three local inhabitants in an attempt to understand what gives them hope. Over the course of shooting the film, a mutual vision emerges – the desire for education, at primary, secondary and university levels – a turnaround wished by many Rwandans after many years of frustration and injustice.
