Returning from a long period of meditation, Tashi, a young monk, plunges into a deep emotional conflict. For the first time in his life, he is confronted with sexual awakening and worldly temptations. Soon, he has to decide between a life in the monastery and a normal family life. His decision to marry with the beautiful Pema is challenged again, as Tashi is attracted by Sujata, a 20 year old young woman that works for the family. Totally confused and unassisted, Tashi has to decide between his love and his faith.
