Alex, a young computer expert, seems to have it made. Thanks to a new business partner, her boss is at last going to be able to press ahead with the “Russia project”, with Alex as the manager. But when she begins to realise that this new partner, and Dr. Gasser his “business attorney”, are not only involved with property of doubtful origin in war zones, but have dealings with shady characters from the “red light district” and with the Russian mafia… it is already too late. In the midst of all the turmoil Alex falls in love with Tommy, a happy-go-lucky street clown, ending her relationship with her work colleague, Jonas. This makes it easier for her to start all over again at work, literally with a clean slate. Until suddenly she finds herself alone, being followed by a pair of gangsters, whose clumsiness only makes them more brutal. With considerable cunning and some raw violence of her own, Alex tries to save her own neck…
