Sylvie notes the arrival of her young brother Paul. Looking for a gun, he tells her that he wishes to “avenge the death of our father”. In fact however, their father died accidentally five years earlier. Sylvie refuses to give him the gun. She then goes to see Walser, one of her father’s former associates. The outcome of the meeting is very different from what she had expected... as all three – Sylvie, Walser and Paul – find themselves caught up in a criminal plot. It is soon complicated further by affairs of the heart, in a way that can only lead to tragedy.
