A portrait of the 23-year-old hip-hop virtuosa from Berne, Stefanie Peter, aka Steff la Cheffe: a young artist who has made her breakthrough. As hard as the hip-hop beats of her producer Dodo Jud and as soft as the sounds of Andreas Vollenweider’s harp, whom she accompanies on tour. The runner-up world champion in beatboxing is just as multi-facetted as her music. Perhaps it’s even the apparent contradictions that point the way to success. Or in the words of Steff la Cheffe: “Fire and water make steam – and steam moves!”
