Susanna is 33 years old and about to have her first child. A story like thousands of others, except that in this case both parents are HIV positive. Susanna decides against an abortion. Before the child is 18 months old, there is no way of knowing whether or not it will be affected. An in-depth study in tolerance: of the individual’s freedom of choice, the right to life, and incidentally of life itself – which cannot always be under our complete control, foreseen and planned.
