On September 6, 1970, Palestinian hijackers hijack a fully occupied Swissair plane. After weeks of negotiations, the Federal Council capitulates, gives in to the terrorists' demands and releases three Palestinians imprisoned in Switzerland. With the help of contemporary witnesses and archive footage, the film revisits the climax of the “Swiss terror years”.
