The film shows the Sixties as they saw themselves: at first glance rebellious and chaotic, on second glance visionary and surprisingly constructive. In the best Easy-Rider manner, the viewer goes on the breathtaking journey with the punk girl, Helenka from Bern, who sallies forth with her soul-mate, hippie father, Eddie, and his moribund buddy, Grips, on an original Harley-Davidson Shovelhead and a Norton Combat Commando as they thunder their way through the southwest of the USA.
