Bruno Koller is one of the most respected karate instructors outside of Japan. Shortly before he turns sixty, his physician tells him: «Mr Koller, you have dementia.» A man strong as an ox is beginning to falter. But despite his dwindling resources, Koller is determined to continue on the path of karate. The viewers become aware of Bruno and his environment reaching their limits. They observe how a man used to giving commands now has to learn to accept help.
