On a pleasant late summer day, Neele and Michael take an excursion on a boat. Minor disagreements between them open up an unimagined abyss. Michael disappears without a trace and as nightfall approaches, the idyllic setting on the lake turns into a bizarre labyrinth with nightmarish aspects.
