Nine years ago in Trajan Romania a boy called Marian swallowed caustic soda. A few drops completely destroyed his larynx and esophagus. The surgeons placed a stomach tube to feed him. Thus he lived for eight years. Then an organization from Ticino heard about his case and managed to bring Marian to Switzerland where he was operated. Today he can eat and speak normally. But at the age of seventeen he now looks like a boy of twelve. The doctor who is caring for Marian at her place would like him to stay in Ticino, he is bright and could finish school. But homesickness is tormenting him. He wants to return to Romania to play with his friends.
Come fare per avvicinarsi a Marian? Si dice che all'età di 6 anni abbia bevuto per errore della soda caustica, un veleno potente che gli avrebbe corroso l'esofago e la faringe. Si dice che negli ultimi dieci anni si sarebbe nutrito attraverso un semplice tubo impiantato nel suo stomaco e che respiri mediante una canula. Si dice che la sua voce sia un semplice sussurrio, in quanto le sue corde vocali sarebbero state rovinate durante un'intervento chirurgico. Come fare per avvicinarsi a lui?
