In 2004 filmmaker Rita Ziegler meets Dani and his three sisters for the first time. Their parents operate a three-stage mountain farming enterprise in Schächental. At first glance an alpine paradise, but examined more closely it is an enormous amount of work for the parents, Berti and Agnes. The children learn from early on to help out and take on responsibility. In 2012 Rita films them again. The children have now become young adults. The farmer’s wife has taken her destiny into her own hands and left the family. The oldest son is to take over the business.
