This film is about the shooting of the new film “Die Nagelprobe” by the energetic filmmaker and rock musician, Luke Gasser. It illustrates his skills as an animator, capable of generating enthusiasm in virtually an entire valley for his vision, and about the importance of the folklore of Obwalden and its spiritually religious roots up to the present. A sort of “Making of”, but with a look beyond the periphery of the actual filmmaker into the biotope of Obwalden, that strange, headstrong valley behind the Lopper in the heart of Switzerland. The stage in the village, the village on stage.
