Jacqueline Veuve presents her new film in Paris

With Jacqueline Veuve in attendance, the premiere of her new film “La nébuleuse du coeur” (The nebula of the heart) takes place in Paris on March 13. This special showing concludes the 27th edition of the festival Cinéma du réel (March 4-13, 2005) under its new director Marie-Pierre Duhamel-Muller who succeeds Suzanne Glenadel’s longtime leadership.
After receiving a new pacemaker, the heart of the 75-year-old director from the French part of Switzerland has been beating regularly again. But is the heart only an organ even though a vital one? Jacqueline Veuve’s film encounters individuals of diverse backgrounds - heart transplant patients and physicians alike – and thus emerges a dense and touching portrait of the” site of our feelings”.
