The Filmfest Hamburg is one of the largest audience festivals in Germany, with more than 140 films from 34 countries featured. For “Rascals on the Road”, the festival counts as an important pre-premiere ahead of the film’s theatrical release, which is planned for January 4th, 2007, with 150 copies to be distributed throughout Germany (Distribution Germany: MFA + Film Distribution). In addition to director Michael Steiner, the two main actors Janic Halioua (Wrigley) and Alex Niederhäuser (Eduard) were in attendance in Hamburg.
