Born in 1987 in Appenzell, Switzerland. He completed a four-year apprenticeship as draftsman in 2006. In 2008 he began studying animation at the HSLU (Lucerne School of Art and Design) and in 2010-11 spent an exchange year at the Estonian Academy of Art in Tallinn. He graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor in Animation from HSLU. In 2015 he cofounded Playables.
