The daughter of a painter born in Paris in 1979, Alexandra Karamisaris is an actress, writer, director and production manager.

A 2006 graduate of the École du Théâtre des Teintureries in Lausanne, she has acted in a number of Swiss films, including Séverine Cornamusaz's first feature COEUR ANIMAL.

In 2008, she graduated from the University of Lausanne with a certificate in dramaturgy and text performance, and went on to study for a Master's degree in cinema and audiovisual at the University of Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she made stop-motion films such as LE TOURBILLON DE LA VIE, which was selected for several animated film festivals.

In 2015, at the end of her Master's degree, she directed and produced her first professional short film, COLETTE ET LA SALLE B-12, which was selected at a number of European and international festivals.

Since 2020, she has been working for DREAMPIXIES film production.
