Cheikh Ndiaye

Born in 1970, Cheikh Ndiaye is a senegalese artist who graduated from both Beaux-Arts School in Dakar and in Lyon, France. He is best known for his African Cinemas paintings series. His work has been notably exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris, Prada Foundation in Milan. He is represented by Cécile Fakhoury Gallery (Abidjan, Dakar, Paris). He collaborated with Laurence Bonvin on BEFORE THE FLIGHT (2016) and GHOST FAIR TRADE (2022).
