Gabriela Bussmann

In the 1980s, Gabriela Bussmann began working alongside George Reinhart at the Filmhaus on Josefstrasse in Zurich. In 1990, she played an active part in the development of the brand new Critics' Week at the Locarno Festival. From 1995 onwards, Gabriela Bussmann was a member of the board of directors of the Nyon International Documentary Film Festival, now known as Visions du Réel. In 2001, she set up the Doc Outlook International Market within the Festival, and in particular the Pitchings du Réel, which bring together the most important international partners and decision-makers. She was also behind the creation of the first digital marketplace for documentaries. In 2012 Gabriela Bussmann founded GoldenEggProduction, committed to developing projects by both young filmmakers and established creators.
