Born in 1967 in Turkey. Swiss citizenship. Lives in Switzerland since 1972. Studied German, Film Studies and Journalism at the University of Zurich. Since 1999 works on television and film productions in Switzerland and Germany. 2000 Receives degree from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg. Her first feature FLIEGENDE FISCHE received, among others the directing award at the Max-Ophüls-Festival Saarbrücken. Her series SEITENTRIEBE/MONOGAMISH was sold worldwide and won the European Script Award. In 2021 she wins the Swiss Film Award, Best Short Film, with YOUR STREET.
