Jasmila Žbanic
Director, Screenwriter
Born in 1974 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Worked as puppeteer and clown. Studied directing at the Arts Academy in Sarajevo. 1997 Cofounds Deblokada artist association. Works as producer and director with Deblokada. 2006 Receives Golden Bear in Berlin for “Grbavica”.
