Born in 1981 in Zurich, Switzerland. 2005-08 Attends acting school Berlin. 2010-13 Studies film, directing and screenwritiing at the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts). 2013 Bachelor in Film and 2016 Master in Film, both with focus in film directing, from ZHdK. 2018 Swiss Film Award, Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay for BLUE MY MIND (2017). In 2019 she received an Emmy Award Nomination in the category “Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series“ for KILLING EVE (2018). The internationally successful filmmaker returns to her origins in feature films with WHEN WE WERE SISTERS. For the first time, the director and actress stars in one of her own films and tells a personal story.
