Born in 1971 in Mèknes, Morocco. Joint Swiss and Moroccan citizenship. Works as screenwriter, actor and director. His short film HEAVEN (2008) was awarded at the Geneva International Film Festival GIFF, his first feature film THE MISCREANTS (2011) was selected for international festivals such as KVIFF, Mostra São Paulo and Tallin Black Nights. Among others it was awarded at festivals in Tangier, Cairo and Skopje.
