Rajko was born in Slovenia in 1982 and grew up in the mountains of Switzerland. He began directing and producing short films in 2004 and worked in other sectors in parallel before founding the film production company CognitoFilms in 2012. The company was merged with Catpics in 2021. He is a member of the Swiss and European Film Academies, an alumni of Inside Pictures, a board member of ACE Producers Network and Cinéconomie and co-president of the IG Independent Swiss Film Producers. He has a degree in mechanical engineering and business administration.
