Born in 1980 in Lucerne, Switzerland, she is an independent documentary film director. She studied film/video at the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts) from 2002-2006. After her studies, she founded the film collective Voltafilm, from which the production company VOLTAFILM emerged in 2014, and worked as the company's owner for 15 years as a director and producer on short, TV and cinema documentaries. In 2019, she received the Central Switzerland Film Award as producer of LIFE BEFORE DEATH.
Since 2017, she has also been the co-managing director and co-project manager of the Family and Women's Health Association, FFG Video Production, and within this framework realises short documentaries that reach a large audience.
