Tania Stöcklin
Editor, Director, Screenwriter
Born in 1959 in Winterthur, Switzerland. Studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB) from 1982-89, graduating with the feature film GEORGETTE MEUNIER (world premiere at the Berlinale International Forum). Since then she has worked as a director, editor and screenwriter in Zurich, Berlin and France, as well as being active in film politics, on specialist juries and as a lecturer and mentor.
Since 2005, freelance editor of numerous award-winning cinema films (doc and fiction) in Zurich. Also lecturer in editing at the HSLU (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) since 2014. 2014 Swiss Film Award, Best Editing for VATERS GARTEN (Father's Garden – The Love Of My Parents) by Peter Liechti. Member of the European Film Academy and the Swiss Film Academy.
