Born in 1971 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Trained as actress. Since 1993 collaborates with Véronique Reymond in various dramatic events performed in Switzerland and abroad, combining theatre, song and silent film. Since 2001 screenwriter and film director. Chuat and Reymond’s awardwinning debut film THE LITTLE BEDROOM (2010) premiered in competition at the Locarno Film Festival. It was the Swiss submission for the Academy Awards and won Best Fiction Film and Best Screenplay at the Swiss Film Awards 2011. Their documentary feature LADIES (2018) premiered at Visions du Réel and was a Swiss box-office hit. 2021 Swiss Film Award, Best Fiction Film and Best Screenplay for MY LITTLE SISTER (Schwesterlein).
