Zijad Ibrahimovic
Director, Screenwriter, Cinematographer
Born in 1978 in Loznica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He fled his country with his family in 1992 when war broke out. Since then he has been living and working in Ticino, southern Switzerland. He began his career as a filmmaker in 2007 graduating from the CISA (International Academy of Audiovisual Science) in Lugano. In parallel with his work as a filmmaker, he is also an artist: photographer, painter and sculptor, an activity he performs thanks to his original training as a carpenter.
