L’institutrice Anna, pleine de vivacité, et le jeune installateur sanitaire Clau chantent ensemble dans la chorale mixte et ils attendent également avec joie leur bébé commun. Une mauvaise surprise suit l’heureuse naissance: Fiona, la fille d'Anna a la peau noire! Et tout le monde voit que Clau ne peut pas être le père. Cette circonstance déclenche toute une avalanche d’événements dans le petit village des Grisons.
