Un banlieue en guerre. Les deux frères Almen et Haroun tuent le temps en passant les environs au peigne fin pour y découvrir des changements éventuels. Comme leur petite sœur a une peur terrible des grenades, ils lui racontent que ceux qui se cachent dans les collines alentours ne sont pas de véritables ennemis mais seulement les Indiens de leurs bandes dessinées. Selma finit par les croire et se met elle-même en danger, à son insu.
