Rico Weber était avant tout connu comme étant l’assistant de Jean Tinguely et Niki de Saint Phalle. En fait, dès 1978, il a également exposé son propre travail et attira l’attention du public grâce à ses «Energies - natures mortes».Le cinéaste biennois Stefan Hugentobler a consacré son nouveau documentaire à la vie et au travail de ce singulier artiste suisse. Au-delà d’un portrait touchant, il s’agit également d’un témoignage exceptionnel sur la période phare du «nouveau réalisme». Parallèlement à une importante recherche d’images, ce film contient aussi des séquences et photos inédites.
