Diego, six ans, dépasse son temps de télévision et a alors les yeux tout carrés. Inconsciemment, il déclenche ainsi une série de phénomènes mystérieux qui semblent pénétrer dans notre monde par divers téléviseurs dans tout le bâtiment. Lorsque les deux policiers Kim et Mike arrivent pour une plainte concernant le bruit, ils se retrouvent dans une confusion de mondes mélangés et affrontent la fiction incarnée.
